Reading Journal

The book that I am reading is Pretty Little Devils and a question that I have is how could Hazel be influenced by the PLD's so easily? After spending a weekend at a camp about how you can make a difference and to stay away from drugs and alcohol, I come back to read Hazel using both, and not even considering the consequences. Another thing that she gave into easily was her trust towards Sylvia, another PLD. She has just told her one very personal secret, but she has only been "close" friends with her for maybe a couple of months at the most. I think that this shows how easily influenced you may become when you interact with people who have so much more "power" over you.
